Westgate currently does not have a program available for Owners to rent their timeshare to third parties. However, the Owner does have the ability to send family and friends as “Guests” in the Owner’s place.

Timeshare Rentals By Owner
Increasingly, timeshare rentals by Owner have become a trendy (but risky) occurrence in the online marketplace, represented by numerous online ‘rental portals’ that all claim to be able to rent your timeshare. Again, Westgate does not have a program that formally facilitates the rental of timeshare units by Owners, and we urge Owners to be cautious when exploring websites or business entities that claim to be able to do this. If you are ever approached by anyone claiming to be or represent Westgate that wishes to aid in the ‘rental’ of your timeshare, please remember that Westgate Resorts is NOT affiliated with any third-party companies or rental programs of this nature, so beware!
Supporting your timeshare ownership and keeping you safe from fraudulent timeshare reseller or timeshare rental scams is one of our top priorities at the Westgate Legacy Program.
