Rebuilding Westgate Smoky Mountain Resort & Water Park
In 2016, Westgate Smoky Mountain Resort & Water Park was devasted by an unforeseeable rush of wildfires. The destruction following the wildfires was incalculable and fast, but thanks to the heroic actions of Gatlinburg’s first responders and the strength of our local team members and Gatlinburg community, all guests and team members were safely evacuated from the resort.
In our efforts to rebuild and give new life to our beautiful Smoky Mountain resort, the buildings destroyed in the fires have been rebuilt and we're embarking on adding even more. With new additions to our resort, like our onsite Southern Comfort® restaurant, Westgate Smoky Mountain Resort & Water Park is better than ever!

Not only have we risen from the ashes we have come back stronger than ever. We have added some great amenities to the property such as our newest restaurant Southern Comfort®. A southern style restuarant bringing you a variety of comfort foods such as fried green tomatoes, baby back ribs, creole jambalaya, and peach cobbler.
