Spanish Restaurants in Orlando that I Recommend
I’ve eaten all over the city, and these are my favorite 15 Spanish restaurants in Orlando thanks to their food, variety, quality of service, and ambiance.
1 | Santiago’s Bodega | Santiago’s Bodega is one of those places that instantly becomes a favorite. I’ve been here for brunch several times, as well as dinner, and every meal has been amazing.
The intimate, artsy decor sets the scene for a Spanish meal bursting with flavor and personality.
I’m personally in love with the tapas, which feature delectable bites like chickpea & chorizo stew and citrus shrimp ceviche.
The restaurant is super popular for brunch, but its happy hour and late night hours keep the good times rolling.

2 | Bulla Gastrobar | When my friends ask me for the best burger spots in Orlando, they usually expect to hear about a diner or some American bistro. But instead, I point them to the amazing Bulla Gastrobar.
Its burgers are unique as they are exceptional! I recommend trying one with a made-to-order sangria.
If you’re looking for the best Spanish tapas in Orlando, Bulla Gastrobar is hard to beat. Its diverse menu, colorful atmosphere, and great prices make it the best happy hour spot in Orlando.

3 | El Cilantrillo Restaurant - Semoran | For authentic Puerto Rican food, head to El Cilantrillo. This vivacious restaurant brings the heat and fun to every meal with its incredible plates and live music.
I’m obsessed with the restaurant’s chuletas fritas, which are crispy, fried pork chops. I always order mine with stir- fry rice and finish with maduros, or fried sweet plantains.
The best thing about El Cilantrillo is that its food is so authentic. The menu includes Spanish names for every dish with an English description. Plus, the family who owns it and their staff are incredibly welcoming and happy to offer recommendations.

4 | Café Tu Tu Tango | Two words: Cuban sliders. Every bite is full of flavor thanks to layers of genoa salami, capicola, pulled pork, crunchy pickles, Swiss cheese, and a signature mojo sauce.
If that’s not enough to make you run to this Spanish cafe, let me tell you about the green papaya salad – tangy, sweet, crunchy, and absolutely perfect with any entree. Seriously, if you ever thought salad was boring, you need to order this. It will change the way you see salads forever.
The atmosphere at this eatery is laid back but still energetic, especially during brunch hours.

5 | Turulls Boqueria | The striking blue decor and lights create a wonderful atmosphere at this dazzling Spanish restaurant near the Florida Mall.
The beautiful setting and exceptional service complement the menu, which is bursting with flavor and Spanish charm.
Having eaten real Spanish food in Spain, I can safely say that the food here is just as authentic and delicious as anything you’ll find in the country. The attention to detail and dedication to traditional cooking and presentation is phenomenal.

6 | Barrio Español | One of my favorite family-friendly Spanish restaurants in Orlando is Barrio Español. This food truck is situated in a park so there’s plenty of room to relax and let the kiddos run around as you enjoy your meal.
Calamari, patatas bravas, paella, and coquetas await, all made from scratch with fresh ingredients.
The staff is super friendly and always eager to answer questions, so don’t hesitate to strike up a conversation if you’re new to Spanish food and want recommendations!
The homemade recipes make the food stand out, and the presentation is fantastic. The entire ambiance and dining experience was amazing, and I can’t wait to go again.

7 | Oh! Que Bueno Restaurant Grill and Bar (Semoran) | When I started trying more Spanish foods, I was super excited to visit Oh! Que Bueno Restaurant for authentic Latin American dishes.
It was here that I had my first taste of mofongos, fried mashed plantains topped with grilled meat or fish.
The menu is extensive, offering many traditional plates, sides, desserts, and steaks. Plus, there’s a great drinks menu that features margaritas, cocktails, and the iconic piña colada.

8 | Columbia Restaurant - Celebration | Just a short drive from Orlando, this Spanish restaurant in Kissimmee is one of my favorites for authentic Cuban food.
Since 1905, the kitchen at Columbia Restaurant has served up Latin American cuisine full of flavor. To this day, it still serves family recipes passed down from generation to generation.
The Cuban Black Bean Soup, Mahi-Mahi Cubana sandwich, and tapas are my favorites. I also recommend trying the stuffed piquillo peppers, vegetarian black bean cakes, and empanadas de picadillo for an authentic and delicious tapas meal.

From spicy, savory breakfasts to bowls, arepas, and cachapas, you’ll find the top Spanish recipes you know and love here.
El Toque Restaurant is also a great place to start if you’re looking to try authentic Spanish food in Orlando for the first time.

10 | Jaleo by José Andrés | Do me a favor and promise yourself to eat at Jaleo when you go to Disney Springs.
This Spanish restaurant features a menu by esteemed Chef José Andrés. I’m still dreaming of the pimientos piquillos de queso cabra and pan con chocolate.
You can book a reservation for lunch or dinner, and there are various menus to choose from. In a rush? Try the rapid lunch that lets you build a three-course meal with an optional sangria for an extra $5.

Here, steamed rice bursting with flavor, fresh seafood, and savory meats are waiting for you to dig in and enjoy.
In addition to the wide range of paellas on the menu, you can also order tapas, and fresh sangria to complete your experience.
I’m in love with the laid-back atmosphere, so you definitely don’t have to dress up for lunch or dinner here. It’s the perfect weekend location to grab a filling meal full of Spanish spice.
WHERE: 12701 S John Young Pkwy #117, Orlando, FL 32837 | WHO: (407) 730-6500
12 | Chimiking Restaurant | The menu at Chimiking is a fun spin on Spanish food that combines signature ingredients with the restaurant’s own unique ideas.
I took my time perusing the sandwiches but ultimately had to get a chimi — a Dominican burger topped with chimichurri, coleslaw, and the restaurant’s special secret sauce.
For dessert, the restaurant didn’t disappoint with three types of flan, tres leches cake, and passion fruit cheesecake. I may or may not have ordered all the flan flavors. You know, for science, of course.

13 | Casa Vieja | If you’re wondering what type of Spanish food to try first, consider Puerto Rican if you’re looking for meat or seafood, love a little spice, or are a fan of tropical flavors.
From staples like mofongos and tostones to salted cod fritters (bacalao), tacos, and empanadillas, Casa Vieja is my go-to for the best Puerto Rican restaurant in Orlando.
Every time I eat here, the friendly staff and lively atmosphere make the delicious food even more enjoyable. And it’s a great place to find new dishes to discover, all while getting that authentic, homemade feel.

14 | Pio Pio Restaurant | I love I-Drive restaurants, and Pio Pio is no exception. This Spanish eatery always delights me with its amazing service, fresh food, bold flavors, and relaxing atmosphere.
While you’re there, you want to try the Bandeja Paisa, the national dish of Colombia made from two types of sausage, chicharrón, an arepa, plantain, sliced avocado, and fried egg to top it all off. Que delicioso!

I ate here for a special occasion, but to be honest, now going here is the special occasion. The amazing flavors, sophisticated atmosphere, vibrant colors, and incredible textures make this a true culinary experience.
When you eat here, expect to be treated like a VIP, and enjoy dining on some of the best Brazilian and Latin American dishes in Orlando. Its Michelin-starred three-course dinner is a must for fine dining foodies.
