The rink is open seven days a week during the winter season, which lasts from November through March. It offers a wide range of services, like private and group skating lessons for beginners, as well as engaging activities for experienced skaters.

If you start to feel chilly, the rink provides a warming hut. There’s also a heated gazebo that will charm you with its scenic view of the mountains.

The Gallivan Center Ice Skating Rink is situated in the heart of Salt Lake City, 30 miles from Park City. Every winter season, East Gallivan Plaza transforms into an open rink spectacle that wows its visitors with holiday lights and Christmas carols.

Skating tickets are available from November through March on a first-come, first-served basis, so don’t forget to plan ahead.

5 | Millcreek Common Skate Loop |

Located in Salt Lake City, Millcreek Common is the largest open skating rink in Utah, covering a surface of 11,000 square feet. Every winter season, this rink turns into a frozen heaven for festive community gatherings and events.

The ice rink is open for skating from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. During this time, skaters can enjoy the festive season with decorations, the warmth of outdoor firepits, and the beats of local DJs.

Aside from regular sessions, Millcreek Common also hosts several special events, including New Year’s Eve, Hanukkah, and World Ice Skating Day.
