Arrival Day: Go to the Front Desk and check into your fabulous room. To save time, you may also download the Westgate Mobile App to start the check in process, upgrade your room, add extra days, make reservations at Westgate restaurants and spas, order groceries, view activities, and more. Ask for an Activities Schedule and choose your favorite things-to-do from the lineup. Use this first day to unwind, unpack and make plans for the rest of your stay. If you need a bite to eat, try the Tuscan Chicken Flatbread, Wham Bam Burger or another tasty option at Drafts Sports Bar & Grill. Our guests also rave about the New York Style Pizza at Cordovano Joe’s Pizza and yummy desserts at Hershey’s Ice Cream Shop.

Depending on the time you arrive, wind down and take a dip in any one of our 14 heated outdoor pools. Plus, get a head start on purchasing your favorite attraction tickets so you can put together a schedule to visit your favorite parks during the days ahead.

Get plenty of rest, the fun starts tomorrow!

Day 2: Begin your day with breakfast! The most convenient option is Room Service. To place an order, call extension 41262 or visit your favorite onsite eatery for the most important meal of the day.

Shipwreck Island Water Park: One of the greatest benefits of visiting Orlando, is the beautiful year-round weather that makes Shipwreck Island Water Park an unfailing entertainment option for the entire family. Take a dip in the pool and grab a bite to eat with drinks from Paradise Cove on the ground level. Move upstairs to the upper level and get soaked at Black Beard’s Pirate Ship, the center piece of the water park.

Enjoy the slippery water slides and get sprayed by water cannons and fountains surrounding the ship. Canon Ball Falls is always a hit to get the adrenaline pumping. Choose the fully enclosed yellow or red tube that will spit you out into the pool below. Pirate Plunge Drop Slide is another exhilarating experience and if you are adventurous, try Walk the Plank which will plunge you through the Jolley Roger’s Galley and into the shallow pool below. To top it all off, close your eyes and experience island life in the Lazy River that winds around the entire upper deck. Here you can relax and truly unwind.

Movie Theater: Keep the family bonding going with a free family movie at the Disney™ Movie Theater. The movie options are kid-friendly and will provide hours of entertainment for the entire family.

Mini Golf: Spending some time at the dinosaur themed Jurassic Miniature Golf Course is another family friendly thing-to-do. Tee off at the 18-hole course complete with entertaining obstacles and challenges. We highly recommend this as the perfect bonding activity to wind down at the end of any day.

Day 3: Visit a theme park. If you’ve already purchased your Disney tickets, it’s time to take our complimentary shuttle and venture out to experience your favorite attractions. Your most famous options include Walt Disney World®‎ Resort (Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park, Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park), Universal Orlando Resort™ (Universal Studios and Universal’s Islands of Adventure), and SeaWorld® Orlando. Whether you visit one or several parks, pace yourself and enjoy the fun!

Day 4: After your long and exciting adventure at the theme parks, start your third day with rest and relaxation at the resort.

Pool: Take a dip in any of our 14 heated outdoor pools or soak in a nearby hot tub. There is even a wading pool perfect for children. When you’re ready for a bite to eat, order poolside delivery from Cordovano’s Joe’s Authentic New York and look no further than the pool bar for a draft beer or soda.

Spa: End your last vacation day with pampering and rejuvenation at Serenity Spa by Westgate located at nearby Westgate Lakes Resort & Spa. Choose from relaxing treatments like massages, wraps, and facials that provide the ultimate stress relief. The spa also offers cardio and weight training equipment along with aerobic exercises to get the adrenaline pumping plus, Yoga and a meditative environment to provide supreme peace and serenity to the senses.

Shopping: Head into the city for retail therapy. If you are looking for souvenirs, gifts or affordable items from well-known brands, International Drive's many attractions include a variety of shopping options. The Mall at Millenia Mall, Florida Mall, and Fashion Square Mall are also nearby options to visit, along with a great assortment of Orlando breweries, Orlando hiking trails, and other great things to do in Orlando.

Wind down at the resort and prepare for Day 5!

Day 5: Theme Park Day. Today is a good day to visit another of Orlando’s famous theme parks. Whether Walt Disney World ® Resort, SeaWorld® Orlando or Universal Orlando Resort™, spend an incredible day soaking up the excitement and making magical memories.

Or opt for a short road trip to LEGOLAND® Florida Resort, a 150-acre theme park geared for kids 2-12 and located just 45 minutes south of the Orlando theme parks in the charming city of Winter Haven. Highlights of LEGOLAND® Florida include 50 rides, shows and attractions inspired by LEGO® brands and characters, as well as the adjacent LEGOLAND Water Park, a world-famous botanical garden, and plenty of dining options and specialty shops. By the way, don’t miss the chance to ride The Great LEGO® Race, which combines state-of-the-art virtual reality technology with a thrilling roller coaster adventure.

Day 6: Relax at the resort and enjoy your favorite amenities.

Boat Rental: Create a memorable start or end the day with a scenic Paddle, Swan or Pontoon Boat ride outing along the serene Town Center lake. For your convenience, boats can be easily rented at the nearby Marina. Nothing beats the serenity of floating on water and the amazing picture-perfect moments it brings!

Planned Resort Activities. The Activities Department offers plenty of planned family-friendly entertainment for organized family fun. From Yoga and spin classes, ping-pong, and dance, to water aerobics, DIY classes and child friendly hobbies, there is truly something fun for everyone.

Basketball/tennis/volleyball: Shoot hoops on any of the basketball courts with the kids or do a one-on-one exchange. There is even a tennis and volleyball court for competitive or friendly matches if you prefer.

Bike ride: Take a leisurely bicycle ride throughout the resort and see the amenities we offer along the way. Bicycles and helmets can be rented on an hourly basis at the Activity Center. A bike is the easiest way to get around and see the sights and scenes at the resort.

Day 7: Beach day! No visit to Orlando, Florida can be complete without a day at the beach. Luckily, Cocoa Beach and the famous Cocoa Beach Pier are within 75 minutes of Orlando, so head there for a beach escape. Start with a dip in the Atlantic Ocean or stroll along the 800 ft stretch along the pier. Dine on delicious seafood at amazing restaurants like Pelican’s Bar & Grill and Rikki Tiki Tavern. Enjoy live music, beach volleyball, surfing, fishing and so many more options to make this an incredible vacation day of fun and opportunity for memorable escapades.
