Westgate Resorts Acquires VI Resorts, Expanding with 40+ New Vacation Destinations
Westgate Resorts has announced a definitive agreement to acquire Bellevue-based Vacation Ownership Sales (VOS), the exclusive management and sales provider for VI Resorts, North America’s largest owner-controlled vacation club. Set to close in 2025, this acquisition expands Westgate’s reach by integrating VI Resorts' extensive portfolio of over 40 domestic and international destinations, including Hawaii, Mexico, and Canada. Westgate will assume management of the VI Club, investing over $4 million in marketing, branding, and technology enhancements to elevate the experience for VI Owners while continuing to add new members through its robust sales and marketing efforts.

This acquisition means Westgate Resorts will assume management of VI Resorts' points-based Vacation Club, which has an expansive portfolio of mor than 44 domestic and international resorts and destinations. These locations include premiere destinations thoughout the United States, such as the picturesque islands of Hawaii. Other destinations include the sandy beaches of Mexico and vacation spots throughout Canada. Westgate Resorts will continue to add new Owners to the VI Club through its extensive sales and marketing efforts. As part of its management agreement, Westgate Resorts is committed to investing more than $4 million in marketing, branding and technology improvements to enhance the VI program for its Owners, along with additional benefits.
